Frugal Rubber Stamp Marketing

Leave Impressions on Less Money

Pocket sized rubber stamps are handy to keep in your pocket for numerous advertising opportunities. On thumb tack bulletin boards often, there is a day the adds are cleared off the boards. However, have you notice how some fliers do not get pulled do to some reason of favoritism? So, If you should stamp your advertisement on those fliers, your stamp often stays there with the flier until flier is also pulled. This way you can save money on business cards too.

Frugal Enough to Get Them from Behind?

Also, toilet paper is cheap and not rendered useless if you leave you a stamp on it for the next user to see. You could hear crap about this. But if it brings you paying work or business, your rear can sit on a fatter wallet stuffed with money. You could say you got paid for taking crap from clients. Trying to keep this post clean is hard. But you might say some users will make a clean getaway. To clear the air, I am sure you may find so many places to leave a stamp. This method is not for more image minded businesses of course.

Using your business stamp while you are stamping hands for admittance to an event is better choice than a generic stamp. Young children sometimes like to have their hand stamped. When I donate or give away used books, I like to stamp a few pages. If I give another persons business card out on referral I like to stamp the back of their card so they remember who referred them.

Where ever you folks leave your stamp, be sure your mark leaves no damage, as vandalism is not in the savings plan of course. As these rubber stamps are really inexpensive and ink so cheap, maybe you know a frugal friend you should share this with??

Business Card Designing

I just finished designing the new frugal business cards using Inkscape software. The soft ware is free but takes some time to learn. For easier learning I searched YouTube for “Inkscape Tutorial”! YouTube is fast becoming a do-it-your-self training resource! Another low cost way is to go to fiverr.com and hire it done. For a print shop, the edges must have some bleed spacing also. Can you see me hard at work? Dyg

Solar Yard Lights

Too many get broke off easily as the point is not strong. To fix this, instead use a short length of re-bar to drive into the ground and slide the tubular stem over it. This not only resists breakage but will serve to spin and let hoses slide right by without dragging the hose into the flower bed or garden. When not needing the lighting, you can just slide a plastic length of pipe over it, to spin over the re-bar! Dyg

Laptop Keyboard Protector

I used a cardboard the thickness of cereal boxes to make a stencil for cutting clear plastic in to a rectangle shape slightly larger than that of keyboard and made numerous pre-cut clear plastic protectors to last through out the year. Be sure not to cover any ventilation openings. By using a small square of transparent scotch tape on each of the 4 corners, this keeps it in place. Each time I clean and replace the protector, I use rubbing alcohol placed onto the cleaning linen before wiping it down. The alcohol cleans food, oils, and tape adhesive off very nicely. Do not apply alcohol directly to the laptop. Dyg

Seasonal Opportunities!

Spring and summer seasons open up outdoor activities on hunting for antler sheds, wild mushrooms, and wild berries! This may even go well with camping or RV-ing. If you do not collect these for yourself, this activity can bring in some cash by selling them.      Dyg

Knowing Warranties!

Some Companies back their products with warranties that can be turned into a big savings if you are knowledgeable! Here is a stainless steel BBQ with a lifetime warranty that was bought used at a garage sale for $40 because internal parts were corroded too much. After contacting the manufacturer, for $27 more for shipping and cleaning kit, the rest of the replacement parts were sent for free. Total cost was $67 for this one with side burner, broiler, and rotisserie.

Trash Compactor $

By making the trash take up less space many folks find savings because the sanitation pick up prices are often based on size of container.  Also, if you find aluminum recycling time consuming, the trash compactor can be used for aluminum cans to crush cans faster with less work, saving you time and space. Trash compactors can be found used for bargain prices as I have seen them offered from free to about 20 US dollars. DygDSCN0745

Meat Grinding

To save on ground meats we sometimes grind our own meat that was on sale or hunted. I like using the electric grinder but in case of power outage or to save on electricity, it is nice to have a hand crank grinder on hand too. Dyggrinders

Baby Monitor for Security

If you are short on funds for a high tech security system, using a baby monitor can be a cheap alternative. I put the sending unit on the porch under the roof cover and the receiver just inside the front door. By adjusting the volume up I can even amplify sounds outside for easy listening. So this way I hear cars drive up, people walking by, and even wild animals nearby. My best buy for a baby monitor is garage sales for about 5 US dollars. Many newer baby monitors also have a video feed too, which I consider excellent for those without a peek hole in their door. With many having a dc input voltage, they can easily be rigged for off grid or RV applications also.
